Tattoo Aftercare

Guidelines for proper tattoo aftercare

Stiker Heart

At the end of the session, a breathable film will be applied
that allows the skin to breathe while protecting the tattoo.

After 24 hours, the film should be removed:

  1. Thoroughly wash your hands before proceeding.

  2. Remove the film slowly and carefully, without tearing it, using warm water if necessary.

  3. Wash the tattoo with warm water and neutral or antibacterial soap.

  4. Dry by gently patting with a disposable cloth or a clean towel (do not rub).

At this point, let the tattoo air out so it can breathe.

This process should be repeated every day, 2-3 times a day for about 3 weeks.

Dos and Don'ts

✅ DO: Regularly moisturize the tattoo with cream (2-3 times a day).

❌ AVOID: Exposing yourself to the sun, pools, gyms, saunas, or the sea for at least 2 weeks. Do not scratch or remove the scabs—they will fall off naturally.

FAQ

The tattoo under the film has released ink; should I be worried?

This is completely normal. In the first 24-48 hours, some of the ink used in the tattoo is released from the skin as part of the natural healing process.

Can I scratch my tattoo if it itches?

Absolutely not. During the healing process, some scabs may form, and you might feel itching. Avoid removing the scabs, as this could cause some of the color to fade.
To relieve the itching, you can gently massage the area with water and soap during your regular tattoo cleaning routine.

Can I be exposed to the sun while my tattoo is healing?

No. Sun exposure during the first two weeks after getting a tattoo can prevent proper healing. If you absolutely must be in the sun, cover the tattoo with a light fabric to protect it.
